This rare variety is one of our top sellers (when we have it in stock) this year and is known in Russian as "Czerno Krimski". Contrary to popular misconception on the part of most tomato growers who believe that this variety is named after the Russian Crimea (Livadia), this variety hails from the Isle of Krim in the Black Sea off the coast of the Crimean peninsula.
Black Tomatoes have been super hot the past few years and this one is one of our best! This variety is a medium-large sized maroon beefsteak with green shoulders and an intense, unique taste! Ideal for slicing, salads and more. The production of this variety is intense and it will do quite well in containers. About 75-80 days to maturity. Indeterminate vines.
