 What a simple name for such a great tasting tomato!  Delicious was introduced by Burpee Seed Company after years of selection from Beefsteak. It features large, meaty beefsteak type tomatoes, most in the range of 1 to 2 pound average, but tomatoes over 3 pounds. They are relatively free of defects for a large-fruited tomato. The flesh is red and meaty with small seed cavities. Good yields are produced on indeterminate vines.
