Connecticut Field is a Native American heirloom with a history that goes back to the 1600's. They average fifteen to twenty pound fruits that are flattened on the ends. They are normally 12 inches in height and 12 inches diameter. The rind is hard but thin and slightly ribbed. The flesh is sweet, thick and course. Great for pies, canning or Jack O Lanterns! 110 days from seed
