As the name suggests this heirloom tomato originated in Russia.  It is supposed to be black tomato, but we saw no sign of that when we grew it out for the

first time this year.  It was was completely red, however is does have the rich complex, earthy flavor of a black tomato.  Midnight in Moscow averages 3/4

pound, but some easily got to a pound.  Very prolific and extremely early for a large tomato. 75 days to maturity.
