This heirloom, originally from Turkey and more recently from Italy features miniature orange-red fruits that are 2 ounces each and look like tomaítoes. The tall 4 foot plants are spineless and are very attractive when laden with fruit. At edible harvest, the fruits are green-striped and sweet flavored. The fruit is bite-sized and may simply be cut in half for cooking or stirfried whole.
