Rose de Summeris a dependable and beautiful tomato for general purpose use (we like just eating them out of the garden). Its fruits are blocky, on the squat side, with a warm hue that is nearly peachy, often with a spot of yellow. Their skin is smooth and taut, pulled against a unique "architecture" that suggests subtle vertical ribbing. The flesh is tasty, great when eaten fresh, cooking, slicing, and saucing but especially good FRESH! Plucking them off the vine, you know you're getting something eminently useful.  Very productive.  VERY RARE!  71 days from transplant.
