This tomato is so rare you will not find out much about it on the internet.  It is a very old variety first introduced by Vilmorin Andrix in 1885 and was first sold in the US in 1992 by Seed Savers Exchange in 1992.  As you might imagine it has a wonderful 'old-time' tomato taste, very juicy, red with green sholders and productive.  If you want to grow a variety that "everyone else" doesn't have we highly recimmend Micado Violetter!
