Burgundy Red produces good yields of burgundy/red colored okra. This variety has deep red colored stems with bright green leaves. The pods can be harvested up to 8 INCHES LONG and still remain tender. It was developed by Leon Robbins, Clemson University in South Carolina and has been a favorite of southern gardeners ever since.
