Purple Calabash was originally introduced from the Ukraine in 1980 and is one of the most unusual tomatoes you will ever grow.  This Purple Russian Tomato  produces an abundance of purple-red colored, slightly flattened 12 ounce, blemish free skin. The tomatoes of this variety truly excel in flavor and are absolutely delicious. A perfect tomato for eating fresh or for making into salsa or tomato sauces.
