This plant produces heavy yields of 9 inch long dark green tender okra pods. The pods are thick walled, tender, and spineless. Emerald Velvet tends to stay tender even when very large. It also retains its color when frozen or canned. Excellent for soups, stews or boiled but we think the best way to have it is fried! This great price makes these seeds about 1/2 penny EACH!
